The experience of camping in Kauai is amazing, but be careful to whom you rent your camper! Many hiden costs, very far and expensive to pick up and return, and not friendly customer service. Kauai Roof Top Campers is definitely NOT a good option.
Super helpful and extremely detailed on expectations. There were no guessing games on what to expect when it came to rules, cleaning, and the setup/tear down of all the equipment. Plus they gave many great touring and experience items to go see during our visit.
We had a lovely stay at Kauai with our rooftop camper. The communication on beforehand and during the trip were super clear and respons was always helpful and quick. The equipment was more than sufficient and of good quality. The only thing we missed was a mattress for the ground tent since we were with three, but after contacting Ryan that was also solved easily. I would highly recommend this experience. On the Island it's only possible to stay with a rooftop camper at two places. That is good to know on beforehand since it does not give the possibility to plan nights on the entire Island.
Car got us where we needed and had all of the supplies we could want.
